Coronavirus Outbreak

No sessions from Monday 16th March 2020 due to Government advice regarding COVID-19

Here at Doggy De-stress we take mental health and wellbeing very seriously, which is why we take our stress busting dogs in to workplaces and universities to lower heart rates, blood pressure and release those feel good hormones. Sadly though our dogs can’t cure Coronavirus!

Our sessions are designed to bring small groups of people into an enclosed room to spend a relaxed and chilled out time with our dogs. We’ve been following some strict hygiene controls over the past few weeks in line with Government advice but we now have a responsibility to help delay and reduce the risk of spreading this virus.

Many of our clients are also following this advice and have postponed their health and wellbeing events, closed their premises or have asked staff to work from home. We at Doggy De-stress also need to look after ourselves and our dogs and as a result we have taken the decision not to deliver any sessions from Monday March 16th.

If you have a session booked in the near future and we haven’t contacted you, then we’re hopeful that the situation will have improved and we will be in touch to talk about next steps and keep you up to date.

If you’re a business considering our services in the future, our diary remains open and we can pencil dates in/hold them for you. We remain positive that this situation will improve and normality will be restored over coming months.

At this time your mental health and well being are going to be under pressure as day to day life temporarily changes. Remember it’s vital to give your mental health a cuddle during this period. Please share our website and social media details with your staff. Although we may not be visiting you, we will try to keep you smiling with the day to day antics of our dogs!

In the meantime stay well and keep in touch.
